Elizabeth Arden Eyes wide open

Pink Pixie make up tutorial

Elizabeth Arden Eyes Wide Open Colour Collection – Colour Play, Your Way

Bold. Natural. Smokey. It’s all about the eyes, they are the windows to your soul after-all. This palette allows you to create an infinite amount of looks with endless possibilities. Look like a little pixie one day and make people green with envy the next. Whether you’re going for soft and sultry or bold and playful, this palette with ‘custom-eyes’ your look. The little black compact allows you to choose and combine eyeshadow trios creating your own personal look. The lasting impression mascara takes your lashes to new heights and the statement brow completes the look.

I worked with a professional make-up artist from Pretoria, Megan Marx to create these looks. We created two looks using the Elizabeth Arden eyes wide shut colour collection.

To achieve this look just follow these simple steps. You could also create this look for the Holiday Season as well.

This look we created was with the oh so pink palette from Elizabeth Arden, and we made use of their little black compact too. This is a simple everyday glam look – perfect for the working woman.

Megan started off using an eyeshadow primer from Catrice Cosmetics, and then immediately started blending the darkest rosy shade into the crease of my eye with her favourite blending brush. The trick with this look is to focus the eyeshadow on the outer corners of the eye- as this will elongate the eye and make them appear larger than they actually are (Tip of the day).

Taking a dark plum liquid lipstick from Yardley, Megan smudged the lipstick into the outer corners of my eye as well to add some necessary drama. You can use any lipstick for this purpose, it can even double as a creme eyeshadow, just make sure it’s eye safe! Megan then took the lightest shade form the Elizabeth Arden palette and blended it towards the inner corner, adding light and dimension to the centre of my face. This look was completed with the Elizabeth Arden Lasting Impressions mascara, statement brow gel and false lashes.

These eyeshadows are high pigment and of great quality. They’re super easy to use and they are long lasting.

The Elizabeth Arden Little Black Compact retails for R770 for 2 trio’s and palette. Each interchangeable trio retails for R385 each

The shades we used to create these looks were ‘Leaves of green’ and ‘oh so pink’

The lasting impressions mascara retails for R365

The shade we used was lasting black.

The statement brow gel retails for R285

P.S. this look was not paid for my Elizabeth Arden or Megan Marx. This was a collaborative effort to create an artistic look using great quality products. Elizabeth Arden Provided the palette and Megan volunteered her time.
